Changing the destiny of nations, one man, one family, one village at a time.

Nicaragua is the first country that we’ve been called to in order to establish a vocational school. The first phase of the school will be a woodwork Restoration of the Nations - Nicaraguashop located in Leon. By producing furniture early in the program, the students will be able to experience the fruits of their labor. When the furniture pieces are completed, they will be moved to the front of the shop to space set aside for retail. The income from the sale of the furniture will be used to provide money for the ministry as well as pay an apprentice wage to the students. It is important that they see results from their efforts and get paid for their time and talents. This will be an excellent opportunity to talk with them about how to manage their money.

Currently we are working in the northwest portion of Nicaragua…..Leon/Chinendega area. It is referred to as the volcanic lowlands. It’s the most populated, agriculturally fertile and swelteringly hot corner of the country. Tension seeps out of the land here in the form of boiling mud pits, geothermal vents and the occasional trembling of a volcano. The Leoneses and Chinandeganos know well that life can be short and violent, and it should thus be lived intensely.
